WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The 2015-16 basketball season has gotten off to a great start thus far for the Lady Bruins. It's been amazing to see their growth on the court since the end of last year. Currently they have a 7-2 record and are looking forward to the conference portion of their season starting in January.
Our pre-game chapel services have been going really well. We have averaged anywhere between 5-6 players who show up for this time and we just love being able to spiritually invest in their lives in this way. One encouraging thing that has recently occurred was seeing Jenny and a few of the girls present another player with her very first Bible. That player loved her gift and has expressed more of an interest in exploring what it means to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

BASKETBALL OUTREACH
On December 5th, Jenny and I helped give leadership to a post-game outreach event involving members of the team. The heart behind this event was to invite people interested in hearing a more in-depth perspective of how God plays a role in their lives. We offered a 30 minute program that went really well and we are looking forward to seeing this event grow in attendance every year.

TEAM RETREATS
Back in early November, Jenny and I traveled to Dallas, Texas with the women's basketball team for their team retreat. We enjoyed this time of relational bonding with the team as we participated in activities such as bowling, lazer tag, and even a little line dancing. What an awesome time to kick off the season together.

Back in late October, Jenny and her beach volleyball team spent the weekend on Catalina Island for their annual team retreat. They enjoyed hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, and many other fun activities together. The girls have been training hard since the beginning of the school year and can't wait to start their season up in the spring.
